2026 CES Beginner Instrumental Registration

Participation and Practice

-In-school lessons are offered in group settings for 30 minutes once per week. 

-Starting in January, students will be expected to attend one 8 AM morning rehearsal per week (Beginner Band- Wednesdays.  Beginner Orchestra/Strings-Thursdays).  Your assistance with transportation is greatly appreciated.

-Playing an instrument is a commitment that will require students to practice 3-4x per week for a minimum of 15 - 20 minutes.

-We strongly recommend renting a quality instrument.  We partner with Music & Arts located on 201 West Ridge Pike for rental and equipment needs. More information about how to rent/obtain an instrument and an overview of the program will be presented in the CES auditorium on Monday, September 14th at 6:30 PM
